During the summer months, all of Austria transforms into a massive open-air cinema experience. Silent Cinema is the name of the tour that delights film fans in an unusual way: open-air cinema with headphones.

Silent Cinema is an open-air cinema tour that travels through Austria in cooperation with Ö3 – one of Austria’s biggest radio stations. From Graz via Lake Wörthersee to Vienna, Linz, and Innsbruck – always flexible with the inflatable screen in tow.

Each viewer receives a wireless headphone through which the film sound is transmitted. This allows individual volume adjustment and also offers the choice between the German dubbed version and the original version.

The venues are just beautiful: beach bars, lakes, castles, parks – open-air cinema brings the films to places where people like to spend time in the summer.
